If you're butthole squeaks... Please see a medical professional

Well, judging by your previous comment.

I essentially just thinking about what the intention is behind something. What are Facebook's intentions? Are they to connect you with your friends, and improve your life? No. Their intention is keep you stuck too their platform, and sharing marketable details of your life.

You walk onto a car lot. Is your first thought "hey, this guy is super friendly! He just wants to spend time with me" not, his intention is to get you into the most expensive car he can.

Does that make sense?

My guess is that would be the Lemmy.world hack.

They took the servers offline, to avoid more damage.

Kind of neat, that the main Lemmy instance went down, and it actually wasn't that noticable to those of us that weren't logged into that instance... The fediverse is cool :)

We're the same here on Vancouver Island, large groups in certain areas, rumor has it the largest 'chapter' in North America is in Errington.

This has sparked rumors from the Christians, that every cave is full of human sacrificial remains...

We have stopped that try to make it here, but never survive more than a couple years

Canadian here. Because dentistry. Is. Sales. Not. Healthcare.

It's all about upselling you on the new toothpaste, the new treatment, the beautox injections, and spending thousands of dollars on that little imperfection.

I think the difference stands in that other parts of the world may still view dentistry mainly as a medical profession. In Canada, that's the side hustle now.

Disclaimer; I have no experience with dental profession in other countries, just my two cents on dentistry in Canada.

I've been amazed at how much "profanity" I've seen on Lemmy "all" page already... 6 hours in

I have to say, I loved when you would see some great drawn out thread, with each comment being an ad lib of some song, I always thought those were a lot of fun

I always found the Canada news subs, the only posters were the mods, and everything in there was their political spin on things, trying to push their agenda... I guess what I'm saying is instances shouldn't be allowed to be an echo chamber for the mods

There are two types of people in this world, those who love puns, and those who lie.

I think what I'm not seeing a lot of here is the 12 year old shitheads that just wanna troll everyone. Teenage angst, that's what you call it. I'm sure trolls exist on Lenny, but I haven't seen nearly as much of it

I agree with turtlelogo, but you just made me laugh out loud. This is what I missed about Reddit. I'm home
