It will never matter what your login shell, unless you have bash specific scripts in your login. chsh -s /bin/fish $(whoami) is fine.

Not really..That's not a linux user metric it's a steam user metric. Seems fine to include the steam hardware platform

you installed it without uninstalling first? have you tried an apt purge to get rid of related conf files, then reinstall kde?

yeah probably opening the tabs is not the best solution anyways. maybe a python scraper would be an easier solution to whatever problem they have

I used manjaro when I first started, but have had mixed success since then. Some criticisms here about shipping broken userspace (at least with their mobile OS): https://drewdevault.com/2022/08/18/PINE64-let-us-down.html

But, ubuntu is great for beginners, and i've always had good success with debian, although I'd point beginners to find an installer with non-free firmware until you know what's going on
