Racism doesn't change the skin color of the recipient, however.

Kamala Harris is factually Black, and she is factually South-East Asian. Your perception of her skin tone means nothing.

Colorism is a pretty old form of racism - typically perpetrated inter-culturally / within the same ethnicity, or more recently by white supremacists to categorize minorities or other white ethnicities - which tries to define someone as definitively outside of a ethnic group they factually belong to.

Those are for their VPN and other services, not Mozilla Firefox or their contribution to web standards. The foundation is separate from their for-profit tools.

People kept pinching my butt and bra.

I was dressed as Tina from Bob's Burgers as part of a group costume. I was groped multiple times. Very disturbing.

I live in one of these. They're amazing, and totally changed my mind on apartments. I just wish I had an extra room and a lower floor. I can get a garage for $100/m which is not bad at all.

Anything cheap is going to be bad. We need to raise the standards to a minimum. The unfortunate thing I need to move to a house to be closer to my new job, otherwise an apartment like this would be fine.

They can take my Atomic Purple GBC from my cold dead hands. Make America Trans-Rainbow Again.

That's how polls work. I'm not sure if you genuinely don't know, but that's just how they are done.

You can very accurately extrapolate data on the entire population with just 1000 participants. The flaw is in geography distribution, population distribution, willingness to poll, and other types of sample bias, but if they account for those then that's perfectly valid.

Schools sign the contracts themselves for license deals. The program either doesn't collect the same data, or doesn't collect anything other than analytics.

They do this in Enterprise too. All of our enterprise software is a special version made for distribution. No EULA is involved.

No you're actually right, I didn't go to college... Because it was expensive, not because of the advice lol

No clue why they thought it was a good idea. Maybe it was a scare/reverse-psychology tactic to get us to study something specific.

I was told to be a garbage man. Who the fuck made these tests? My guidance counselor for years told me not to go to college.

I'm a software engineer now, and while I believe garbage men deserve better pay and benefits and recognition as essential skilled workers, who the fuck tells that to a kid? That they should give up on college and work a labor job for their entire life?

Because the terminology is Master and Slave. That's been device terminology for half a century, and has been phased out over the last decade. It's silly to complain that they would change it.

I now say Primary and Secondary for device terminology, and Main, Stage, and Dev for branch terminology. It doesn't impact my daily life enough to be mad they don't keep Master/Slave terminology.
