Someone needs to build an OS superior to Apple?
IOS is a very bad OS. I really took android for granted until I had to manage iPads for work. Short list: You can't have a management app auto start. So if someone locks themselves out of their device without manually opening the management app, they're screwed and need factory reset.
Apps aren't built to auto scale to device? I literally couldn't believe my eyes the first time I tried to run an iPhone app on an iPad and it showed as phone sized screen in the middle of this iPad pro. Android is so well made that you can resize windows on the fly and most apps react just fine.
Thank goodness we paid for an extremely expensive MDM solution, because there's no way to install apps without making every single user make an Apple account.
He actually said that it was a late prototype, then went on to list the things fairphone said had changed between his unit and the final product.
Then added that nothing he experienced should've been impacted by the slight changes they made.
Boobs
I'd like to see it. People need to see that Google isn't the only possibility for Android
If I'm having to force my hobby, I might try a new hobby
You could have a decent experience. Take away the NVME, even with an m.2 ssd, and the oled and bring that price down into the 400-600 range.
Hell, put an arm CPU and keep those other specs and stay in that range
Photoprism better for single user. More stable, prettier, more free license.
Immich has support for multiple libraries, and sharing with your other users. Immich has better ai tools. I'm using immich because I just had a baby and want to see the pictures my wife takes of her.
I also vastly prefer having a single, canon source of photos. I syncthing my library to my laptop for full control (and backup). It's happened before when migrating my server app that I need to reimport all my pictures into a new database. It's super easy if they're all in one spot.
When Photoprism adds multi library, I'll probably switch back. With the main reason being license.
Do it. Put the not-technically-piracy apps on your car. Qbittorrent, sonarr, radarr, jellyfin, etc.
Kirby is a god or something.
Apparently there are pretty big security problems with it?
I just learned this like last week, but haven't had the will to leave.
