Oh, man! This happened to me in production, working on a server that did the invoicing for a large company. Mind you, I was assisted by a senior amin who assured me killall works on hpux. It worked "better" than expected.

You could have asked me for one. I'd send you one for free. 😎

I just read a bit some internet posts and the documentation. I set TimeoutSec=infinity inside the service and I set the timer to run it now. I'll see if that helps.

Even if they do, I would run away from any service/app that would open to them. And so should everyone!

I don't think that's true anymore. I moved my .eu to porkbun (which is an American company) and it works. Also, I just tried registering a new .eu domain with them and it works - and they have very good prices! (I'm not affiliated with them)

Now I have to find and buy everything she wrote.

Symphonium tops all, but it's not even free.

Louis says somewhere in a comment on the presentation video that they won't have (at least for the time being) an iOS app because Apple wouldn't allow it in the Store, so there's that.

I’m not a fan of Borg because you can’t backup directly to object storage (eg. Backblaze B2/Amazon S3/Wasabi/etc), you have to backup to a local or mounted drive, then upload the backup.

Which in fact is a good thing, because it's better to have a local copy and an offsite one. rclone copies it for you without issues.
