Yep.

I'd happily crap on them for being an e-waste factory, for making it insanely hard to install anything outside of their app store, etc.

This ain't it. This is nothing.

Jill Steins platform is nonsense. She has done nothing to accomplish any of it, only shows up for presidential elections, and one of her people literally said that their goal was to try and get Harris to lose battleground states for a Trump win as they know Jill Stein won't.

Said at a Jill Stein event as part of a speech.

Jill Stein is a tool of the republican party and nothing more.

I suggest you find a third party that isn't completely garbage.

A vote for Stein is supporting Trump.

That's her purpose. She's nothing but a tool of the right wing. Democrats are left of Jill Stein.

Dozens!

(They also last longer than the premade stuff, including the fairly dumb zigbee devices. Though just grabbing some ZigBee sensors is soooo much easier than cleaning up and painting small 3d printed housings...)

Ah, yes, the elusive blua maga who... (Checks notes)... Calls out shills.

Yes, very much the same as getting a trump tattoo. Or covering a truck in maga. Or a golden trump statue. Or dressing up as trump at a wedding. Or... Crap I don't want to think about it.

Go away with the nonsense and make up bullshit somewhere else please.

No, hard disagree.

I have many thousands of dollars worth of hardware. I have seen the results of a surge. I have seen a NAS reduced to a paper weight. You're making incredibly silly assumptions here - this has nothing to do with uptime, and everything to do with protecting your equipment.

You will not ever convince me otherwise, because I'm not willing to dump thousands of dollars on replacements because someone on the internet thinks it has anything to do with uptime.

You are wrong.

Edit: anywhere that weather exists is an area with "unreliable electricity". Full stop.

In NY, and FL goes by the state of the conviction for voter eligibility.

The issue isn't that he is a felon, but that he didn't report in after conviction. However, the argument will be that he hasn't been sentenced yet, because FL will definitely find wiggle room for Trump.

It's not exactly news, his invitation to a conference was pulled because every other speaker refused to share a stage with him over his behavior / the politics he spews on Twitter.

I think I'd be concerned more about a return to the one drop mentality.

An official raspberry pi isn't worth gettin imo. Especially after their artificial availability issues during the pandemic.

Plenty of alternatives out there, which is what I'd recommend. OrangePi is much more reasonable price wise.

And if you don't need arm, a used thin client will do the same job, cost a lot less, and have more compatibility.

If they actually consulted a lawyer, I'd be fine with the decision.

They did not. They make rash, uninformed decisions, based on feelings not reality, as a knee jerk reaction to other unrelated events.

So it's not very understandable. They could have consulted a lawyer for less than a month of their hosting costs.
