The green party's goal is a trump win.

Sawant's speech, introducing Jill Stein. Emphasis mine:

We are not in a position to win the White House, but we do have a real opportunity to win something historic, we could deny Kamala Harris the state of Michigan. And the polls show that most likely Harris cannot win the election without Michigan.

That's who you want to vote for?

The person trying to give Trump a win?

Just be honest with yourself and vote for Trump then. Or, you know, place a vote for Harris and not have republican fascism win.

No, it was Godwin for internet memes.

If you mean image macros, sure. That's a subset of what a meme is.

Yup, debian is where I was before Ubuntu, and where I went back to. Still what I run mostly, plus a few different flavors of it (proxmox for example).

Though I'm also running an arch desktop on one of my play machines, kind of reminds me of having to write my x conf out in the 90s! Not bad overall.

(Never giving up my deb stable servers though!)

When some of those mods are perfectly fine with lgbtq persecution, and make it out like vegans have it worse, or dont care because they wouldn't have to see it personally...

I'm just going to go ahead and consider it a toxic shithole. Worst part? Different mod, but they seem to be all over the same vegan communities, so none of them become worthwhile.

I personally don't care if they ban me since I've blocked the communities anyway. Just unfortunate as I really enjoy seeing some of the recipes, as there are a decent number of them that are gluten free (which I need to be).

Especially since the folks who benefit from some water because they are in line for hours are usually the ones with not enough polling places, as in urban districts which typically vote democrat.

Yeah, its definitely fascist bullshit.

Yes but it wasn't marketed that way. Which is why there is more interest.

Apple has been blatantly obvious that they want it to remain proprietary and exclusively on their hardware.

I agree, but leaving it out is still lying about what actually happened.

And does any of that impact the ability to tell the whole truth, rather than partial?

When you exclude important details, you're doing your argument a disservice through misinformation. This has nothing to do with my opinion on Biden, which is not a positive one, but my opinion on intentionally leaving out important details. Which, to me, is no better than just flat out lying.

If you can map a network drive (very east fstab edit BTW), then yes, its a great way to go.

That's what I do, I have two 5-bay NASs, both use all 4 uplinks (LAG) to my switch, and my media server is an LXC on an 8th gen intel, with GPU passthrough.

If you reboot your nas, you may need to reconnect from the server. If you reboot your server, you dont have to do anything since its connecting when it starts up. If you end up needing more space, you just mount that new NAS alongside it.

To me its the better approach.

How it starts vs how it can continue are two different things.

As it gets hotter, forests get drier. Prolonged drought periods make for more leaves, more brush - more fuel for fires on the ground.

Most wildfires these days start out due to something caused by people - a flaming car is one example, along with less blatant things like poorly handled campfires, poorly maintained or damaged power lines, burning off brush, even a tossed cigarette in the right conditions.

Climate change is increasing the scope of wildfires regardless of cause.

I think they are saying he can't afford to retire, but your guess is as good as mine here.

At my parents old home, I helped install a retractable one that covered the patio.

Certainly more expensive than a basic awning, but excellent utility. And handy for the times a storm/high winds are going to be coming through.

Some years later, the switch wasn't working properly, so while fixing it I use the guts of a garage door opener (another replacement, broken motor) to use the wireless remote as a second relay control for the awning. This was about 15-20 years ago, I'd bet there are more options today. Even just ones with a dry contact you can more easily wire into a system.
