Soooo much nicer.

Working on tweaking a new launcher for my "Kids Version" htpc, with gcompris, a few shortcuts to some really great non-profits with education games, and of course JF. 4th gen Intel dell micro, runs like a dream...

Yeah, there have definitely been, we'll call them "prominent posters" here who fit the bill.

I can see where there could be use... I live in the kind of area where the only path available at certain points is major roads, where going 30mph in a car would be so slow its dangerous.

Being able to hit a higher speed like 50 for a short period, then get off and go back to biking.... That I could see as an appropriate use.

Personally I like the idea of electric, I have a crappy knee so if it hurts randomly (which happens), I basically turn around use one leg to actually pedal. As a result, I'm not doing the rides I used to do, from a 100 mile weekend bit of fun down to around a 10 mile super quick bit of fun. Electric would make me feel comfortable going for longer. Of course, I'm not looking to go 60mph on a bicycle anyway.

A dumb phone and a feature phone are not the same thing, and a feature phone may connect to the internet.

Yeah but... Who is wall mounting smaller than a 55" these days?

... Yes. But only on one machine.

Mostly its stable (all of my servers, an editing machine, etc) but I'll do silly things when I need to try something, like image a drive, change the sources to testing/unstable, do what I need to do to test, then reimage.

And recently started running EndeavourOS then Arch because I honestly spend too much time in Debian and felt like poking around at other solutions again, which I do every several years or so.

If you're trying out mobile or bigscreen, sure, that's an option.

If I'm trying to get bigscreen to work, and I need to make code changes to do so, a window is better.
