That's not really the movie's fault though. That is solely on Majors.

The original idea of a meme came from Dawkins in the 70's, and "Internet Meme" from Godwin in the early 90's, talking about message boards, usenet, listservs, etc.

4chan did not start the concept, no. Lolcats came from 4chan, iirc. But internet memes predate the existence of 4chan.

Unfortunately, I am. Too much capsaicin messes with digestion (slows it down), and causes more stomach acid.

So with my gastrointestinal system's hatred of my body (including food allergies which wreak havoc on me), I am at the top tier of too damn white to get to enjoy the heat anymore. So, I guess thanks for a new pepper I can check out!

I wouldn't protest your use, and since that phrase is mine now I can say that!

Jokes aside, this is exactly it. One option, you can protest it. The other, and you're getting "a very rough hour, real rough".

So.... Yeah. Not voting is supporting more murders by the state, and I hope so many people realize they are being duped with their "non-voting protest" and actually go to the polls. Especially because the presidential election is not the only election that matters.

That's not really what's in there.

Its a collection of easily verifiable public statements, twitter posts, interviews, etc, of which some go against the GOP or the Trump approved messaging.

There is nothing salacious, no pictures of his good times with couches, or claims about his infatuation with drag.

Just regular background check stuff.

One selects a different package, same source repo.

The other completely changes the installation, invisibly to the user, potentially introducing vulnerabilities.

Such as what they did with Docker, which I found less than hilarious when I had to clean up after someone entirely because of this idiocy.

The differences seem quite clear.

You dont really need AI for the correlation when you've got usernames being reused so heavily and consistently across numerous social platforms. Just a search engine.

Yes, and I don't consider that an "easy to disable" option for regular users, but that's just my opinion.

"Easy to disable" is also the wrong approach, IMO. It should have been "easy to enable" - stuff like this should always be opt-in, not opt-out. Opt-out, to me, demonstrates a company's motivations more than anything else.

Part of why I'm collecting up whatever ones I find to use for my small electronics projects... Even saw someone recently use about 50 or so to make a nice battery bank (was posted here to Lemmy)

I've been using them as the overnight batteries for solar powered projects (like wled controlled lights). I'll be happy to get batteries elsewhere instead and reduce the massive waste.

I didn't call him a champion of workers rights.

I corrected the misinformation by exclusion suggested by the statement.

Edit: And for the record, the followup was in February 2023. Which was after the part you posted from the Wikipedia entry, which kind of matches the whole... Misinformation by exclusion part I've been commenting on.

Please don't do that.

Well now you have something to post to unpopular opinions too!

Just to note - white dudes for Harris is a real group.

I still wouldn't click the link, I'd go direct to their site if there was an interest there, just noting that it is a real group.
