A nifty feature of TrackerControl is it will pop-up a notification for every new app you install telling you how many trackers it has, and turning on the blocking service will tell you exactly what those trackers are. I keep it installed pretty much for this feature alone.
I don't keep it enabled all the time, because I found too many things breaking, but instead turning it on every once in a while to get a read on which of my apps contacts what outside services.
