I'd like to mention ImgurViewer, can handle quite a lot of image/video links. Particularly useful at the moment with all these new lemmy apps not having the best handle over links.

Self hosting (on Jellyfin, etc.) the content you want is probably the best way to watch stuff on mobile, but not sure it fits your use case.

For me, I liked the ability to swipe left and right between subreddits (the order on which you could configure), you could also swipe between posts. It's also open source and pretty customisable. Unfortunately it's not been updated in over a year.
