I was trying to get across more than anything is you could build a nuanced, structured, and well-supported argument for any of his major faults, and any of his supporters would not be swayed because their opinion isn't based in fact.

Not necessarily that this was the nail in the coffin, just that you could hear a dozen of these stories a week, each of varying credibility, and it wouldn't matter if one had him dead to rights.

One time I asked for my landlord's permission to repaint in a color I liked, and while prepping the surfaces, I discovered that there was a baseball sized hole which they had just put painters tape and a layer of paint over.

Nice, this argument was made with worse faith than Scientology.

Not voting objectively leads you to a worse option and because the inherent biases of our system we have to choose lest it be chosen for us.

Not voting will not EVER stop what is going on, but you knew that.

No politician is going to bend their policies for the population that doesn't vote.

For so long, boomers had the majority of sway with politicians because they had the highest percentage of voter participation.
