I kind of like that idea, do we have any Twitter users here to do something like that too?
I actually read their privacy policy, that's a great staeting point, well and their lack of E2E encryption is a exception for chat apps nowdays too!
Yes, a LOT of things! Fallout76 is the worse example (the internet historian video about it is good), Fallout 4 to some extend, the endless rereleases of Skyrim with no additional value, their shitty launcher, their constant selling of rippoff merch and so on. It's a terribke company that was good ages ago and still profits from their prior reputation, well and now it's owned by Microsoft too!
And successful!
Your local power plant approves of this mesaage!
You can't disable the tracking properly at all so no clue where you get that reasonable privacy first...
Effective is doubtful if you ask me, everything he did was based on huge loans and a preparation for war that he solled differently (E.g. massive streets all over the country)
It's actually the exact same problem, Youtube now blocks IPs on the video endpoint aka everything except for the actual stream works which is a new thi g to adapt to, they used to block access entirely before.
At least in the EU, luckily I from a EU citizen!
Image proxies are a must have, let's hope we get those soon!
Are they PWAs tho, or just shortcuts?
Flatpaks aren't very relevant for servers if I am not wrong but Canonical definitely tties to push Snaps for that usecase, I feel like other container technologies like Docker or Podman are a lot more relevant in that context and containerization in general is really nice especially for server use and not that hard to wrap your head around! ;)
