I'm continuing to enjoy BBS Novemboar. Almost done with my A&E soaps. I think Undersea is blended very well. It's obviously aquatic but keeps me guessing while I use it.
Yesterday's Gillette President was a restored model that was gold plated, but this one is an unrestored, vintage rhodium version. Even though I rarely pick up my DE razors these days, I enjoy them when I do use them.

Second Luxury Shave
I'm ending my run of BaM soaps with the mystical sea creature. Such a special dark, brooding scent. This was the second test shave of this razor.. After correcting the frown at the edge, which I did by freehanding the shaping of the blade, I analyzed the wear pattern and realized that the spine needed some wear to lower the bevel angle enough to allow for more even bevel wear. I did this on a 4K, then moved to a LV coticule, followed by the butterscotch Ark on oil then with ONR. Huge difference in the shave result. The edge now has much better feel.

I forgot to post my second luxury shave for yesterday (I used BaM 42), but today's a new day and I can hopefully get on track. I've decided to join Novemboar, so I'll be using boar brushes for the rest of the month.

This trifecta is so good, it deserves a new release. I have received positive comments on this in public and even the dog (who often seems as if he has three heads) likes this scent.
I agree with you about the Premium base.
I know that DFTR stands for Done for the Retirement in CB world, but every time I see it, I think "Don't Fear the Reaper".

Awesome shave. This is a new tub. I like the scent so much that this is the only soap I have ever killed.

Luxurious shave today. I didn’t need the third pass, but wanted to enjoy the lather and the shaving experience a little longer. The TNeV EdP is new to me and this was my first time using it. If you like TNeV, the EdP should be a consideration if you don't already have it.

The glass soap jar and large frosted glass aftershave add class (and expense) to this setup, but I don't understand the relationship with Maullu other than his social media popularity. I would not have purchased this because, on the surface, it appears like a gimmick to me. Luckily, this set was a gift to me and I quite like it. The curvy WoolfBlades razor and this Legacy set gave me a great shave today.

I always think that I neglect Spiced in favor of my other Seaforth scents but the puck tells a different story. This scent is terrific and I clearly have enjoyed using it. The Tanifuji is both good looking, and a great shaving razor. I totally enjoyed today's shave.

It is a BVWSC day but USPS managed to lose my smush. At least so far. My guess is that it will turn up sometime in the next week. Anyway, I went with a Black WatchDay. It doesn't get much better than this.
Every time that I use it, I am so Impressed by this MK 10 razor. The MK 31 seems to get the most attention but this MK 10 is extraordinary IMHO. If you're collecting give this one a try.
Yes, definitely. I don't do it anymore, but I used to do a microscope inspection of each razor after I did a test shave. I've seen enough of how edges change from one test shave to have confidence that the edge is almost unaffected.
