Writing Scheiße with two s is considered the old way and generally never done. It's also often considered wrong.
So its very interesting to read that it was done on purpose here for political reasons.

It may not be the best approach but i usually just open a PR or create an issue and offer a PR.
They usually let me know if it's lacking or my approach is wrong.
There's no shame in not knowing something.
