Were they ashamed when they segregated the black people? Were they ashamed when they economically crippled them at every turn? Were they ashamed when they made them sit in the back of their churches? Were they ashamed when they were forced to go to their own people's colleges and universities, because they weren't allowed admittance to the white school? This all happened in the north post Civil War. This was the endgame of America. Always has been and it's been known since the beginning. It's time to just sit back and watch the collapse of the empire. Nothing else to do. Racism will never fully be extinguished because it preys on our tribalistic instinct. Hard to overwrite that one.

It was very nice to give them the right to vote, as long as they stayed far enough away from the whites. I'm just saying, it's naïve to say that this level of racism was only fostered from the Confederacy. It's tribalism. The most exceptional part of the human race. It's what kept us alive long enough to evolve this way. Every single one of us is sucept to it. To think not is folly, friend. You have a level of anger in your heart that is best put aside for a sandwich with a friend. The world has not changed, it has always been this way. How you choose to react is your own. Peace and love to you.

Absolutely hysterical that they chopped Columbia up into thirds. It's such a democratic stronghold, they think divvying it up dillutes the vote, but I think they might be shooting themselves in the foot here. Either way, shit can't get done until Gov. calls 'em back for a special session and Foghorn Leghorn is fairly against this measure.

Edit: Weird to see so many folks to get worked up about my state. I actually think this has a higher chance of backfiring, if they enact it, than succeeding. All that being said, THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN , MARK MY WORDS. Gov. McMaster is leaving office and truly does not give a shit. He would rather keep the 6-1, than risk a 4-3.

It is very naïve to assume racism only belonged to the Confederacy. Just because black folks were free in the North, doesn't mean it was all sunshine and roses. This was inevitable from America's founding as a white nation. It's a sad, hapless truth; one that, as every society has, will bring us to collapse. So, stock up, play nice with neighbors, and ride out the fall of America.

With that in mind, take them from the adults too lol. I know some adults who are chronically online

You are correct, my sincerest apologies. Light at different frequencies can carry more/less data. I will leave my mistake, as failures are the price of progress. I will not make that mistake again and be more careful. Thank you for your kindness.

Edit: Clarification; different frequencies affect data transfer rate

Oh boy, I went down a rabbit hole. This has been bothering me to the point where I called in some favors and found some public info for what the current hypothesis on "near" light speed communications is. Because light speed is impossible...for now haha. But let's use some assumptions.

First, light speed travel is possible. Second, that we have superior tracking technology. To the point where we can find the exact location of a traveling at light speed object in space.

The best option we have now is using photonics for communications. This bypasses using radio waves by using an array of lasers that are pointed toward a receiver, which is in turn pointed to the transmitter. We can see why space and light speed travel makes this difficult. It's hard to track objects in space at very high speeds with the precision needed for this level of communication.

The reason photonics is the best option is, it opens up significantly more frequencies to work with. And some frequencies travel farther and faster than others. If we ever master light speed and light speed communications, I would bet money now it's photonics. Because what's faster than light?

Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer. Please do not ask about FTL, crazy things start happening then. <- in jest, if you wanna ask you can. Engineers I know argue about it to the point of almost fighting. But that's engineers for you.

So, I would assume that you would be communicating through radio waves. If an object broadcasting a signal moving at the speed light away from you, I would further assume you experience a severe Doppler effect. To the point that I don't think you would experience anything coherent. You would receive small packets of information at a time, scattered across several million years.

This is just my initial impression on the fly, do not take this as any sort of gospel. I also did some communcations work for a time. So, this is tickling my brain and I might spend the rest of my evening in my books.

Aww man, China is dumping to gain market share for EVs? That's crazy. If only car manufacturers had adapted to EVs sooner and researched more into better battery technologies, they might not be in this position. Get fucked. This whole, every car has to be super luxorious in America is getting ridiculous. I looked at a rav4 last year and the "features" they included in the base model was mental. I just want my car to go when I press the pedal. Brake. And a CD Player. I don't need half the shit they put in American market cars. Doesn't help that I have a large family that needs to travel far, frequently. So, my hands are tied with getting an SUV. I'd kill for a better train transit in America. Next car gets to be an EV though. Cause that's the sedan.

I totally get that. NPR has been painfully centrist, as a close friend and I describe, for quite some time. Hell, Sen. Johnson comes on every week to rant about liberals. But the gold is not their political coverage. The gold is shear dearth of knowledge they bring to people. I have learned so much, through public radio. So, I wanted you to at least know, there's more to them, than just politics. I'm sure you do, but it can't ever hurt, if it helps someone learn something new. Blessings unto you and your family.
