It sounds to me as a documentation issue, as the next comment says, simply including a wget script should solve this.

It was not just a "leak" this was literally on their website a year ago: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2023/12/no-a-marketing-firm-isnt-tapping-your-device-to-hear-private-conversations/

Marketing people bullshitting to get investor money. Anyone can imagine non existent technology and lie on the internet, you don't have to believe everything

Yeah, maybe "working on" was too generous, "aware of the issue and some preliminary work was already done" would have been more correct

Here is some recent discussion if it's feasible at all: https://github.com/microg/GmsCore/pull/2077

I found a sketch of this painting, while I was looking for his other works:

I'm not sure if this is a sketch or just an impressionist version.

Can you check the package names of the apps? On F-droid website you can see it in the url, for example https://f-droid.org/packages/com.jens.automation2/ the code is com.jens.automation2. You should see the same name on the page of the app in settings if you scroll down.

~~If the names are the same than nothing nefarious should be happening behind the scenes.~~

Unknown source can mean it's not from a built-in store. If you would be rooted and install the F-droid Privileged Extension it should show up there correctly. Maybe they just block reading this kind of info from F-droid.

On common Xiaomi phones the rom cooking community is very vivid usually, you can just replace the shitty default rom really easily. Start to look for roms and tutorials about rooting on xdaforums

You can find the list of supported hardware here: https://libreboot.org/docs/hardware/

There are some mobos, most of them are from prebuilt desktops.

I found only one "gamer": Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L from 2009, Socket 775, supports Core2Extreme, that was a beast 15 years ago.

But any other mobo can be used as a gaming mobo, usually they have standard ports and and newer ones tend to follow standard ATX sizes. Front IO ports usually use different configuration, but you can still use it in a case, possible that only the onoff button will work, no leds and reset, that's good enough

Some more facts:

  • Development started in 1984, it was first used in 1991, the Kuwait deployment was its first job
  • The new base is from a VT-55, a modified version of the T-55 tank
  • Max allowed speed is 5 km/h
  • It can carry 3000 liters of jet fuel. That's enough for 30 minutes of extinguishing
  • The nozzles can add 16000 liters of water per minute

.beat tries to solve the problems of time zones. Similar solutions were proposed since the 19th century, and the problem with all of them is they don't actually solve the problems, they just replace them with different problems. From wiki:

Advantages:

  • The same time is used globally, which removes the requirement of calculations between different zones.
  • Possible health benefits as people who live on the eastern side of a time zone are out of sync with the circadian rhythms.[1][9]

Disadvantages:

  • The date will change during daylight hours in parts of the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
  • Requires changes in linguistic terminology related to time.
  • Conceptually, time zones would still be in effect as different regions would still carry out activities such as business hours, lunch, school, etc. at different UTC times, essentially trading one system for a tantamount one.

Docker doesn't like systemd for some reason, podman is the way in this case: https://developers.redhat.com/blog/2019/04/24/how-to-run-systemd-in-a-container#
