Is this that though? Isn't MKBHD just a youtube personality? I mean, you can live well from youtube if you do good quality stuff, but is he considered a "rich person". If it would be zuck or elon or warren buffet, I would see your point, but I don't see a reviewer as someone from a "higher class", he is basically just a specialized journalist, who is looking for more ways to convert some of his fame to money, because youtube still doesn't pay enough to him.

Do you also hate Linus because he constantly advertises his underwear, which is exactly the same as one you can get in any shop but for double price. It's also a "scam" if you think about this way. I don't know why there is this huge outcry for this as it happened a million times before, and I'm sure it will happen in the future.

You will loose your mind when you will learn about the girl who sold her used bathwater...

Can you check it with another computer? What happens if you plug the dock there. Does this happen on the 4.0 port as well?

What chip is inside the dock? lsusb -v in linux. Manufacturer, model of the dock?

There are a lot of shitty usb docks out there, I would expect the failure there instead in a laptop.

I'm not familar with shelly, but they don't use MQTT autodiscovery? If they use it you should have a corresponding HA entity or device of each switch. Then you can use built in tools or templates in automations, and don't directly mess with MQTT. That's much easier and stable.

If they don't use autodiscovery you can create HA entites via configuration.yaml manually

Buy a better case for the mobo. I modded once an mITX motherboard to an ancient HP Proliant microserver case, it's not that hard. Mobos like this doesn't have standard screw distances, but you don't have to secure all screws in a ghetto server. 2 screws and some padding is enough, with 3 screws you are overengineering.

You don't have to self host it if you scroll down there is a list of public instances: https://rss-bridge.github.io/rss-bridge/General/Public_Hosts.html

Reason to self host, some websites don't like rss bridge because it's a kind of adblock from their point of view, and they actively block the ip addresses of these instances. If you selfhost it, you can use these sites, because a single user instance won't generate as much traffic than 1000 users, so they won't notice your instance

From description:

combining both original and colourised footage

For me the historicity of a colorized scene is similar to a reenactment. I hate when they mix original and colorized footage, or if they don't give a proper notice on a colorized section in a docu, or colorized images in an historical article. It looks like the truth, but it's not the truth, and we cannot be sure how it actually looked like. And if we cannot be sure, than there is a possibility that it's fake.

I know a lot of people don't share my view, and it's alright, I'm just an old man who yells at cloud....

You can have ad dc on samba, without windows. Nice all in one solution is UCS univention, works really well and free: https://www.univention.com/products/ucs/

Even in docker, last time i tried this, it was buggy: https://github.com/Fmstrat/samba-domain

Strange. For me the fdroid NG didn't contain any languages, it started, I could set it as the TTS engine, but no sound came from it. Maybe device language also matter?

It works from me, I tried on mobile and desktop, I think the problem is on your end. Your link is the mobile site, but I linked the desktop version, maybe your lemmy client is the problem?
