I see that by default but occasionally check the All tab for new stuff.

Yup same. I always wondered why there was a user folder when we already have home.

I'm so tired of this bubble settings crap. This seems like a step in the right direction.

I totally agree. I guess that's also what I meant but couldn't express.

My comment was about our current society. But it applies to lots of things like family relationships, work etc.

Of course it works, what are you talking about?

Oh, for the employees? Nooo no no. Not for those haha.

I think there's 2 kinds of people. One kind reads or watches this and thinks "this is horrible and this system should be abolished", while the other kind thinks "I need to screw others over so I can retain what power I have, and try increase it". The second kind includes the "temporarily financially embarrassed" who see socialism as a terrible thing even if it would benefit them.

Of course it sucks when both do it. But one group does it far more often. Your argument sounds like the "all lives matter" of "black lives matter".

Ubuntu is much less user hostile than windows. My parents only used Ubuntu for the past several years because they inherited my old laptop. They just want to Google stuff, so all they need is a familiar browser.

Oh for the love of Linus, block all notifications requests from websites at the browser level. Comon people accept all notifications requests and get inundated by them.

This has always happened to women. I mean, men do it do men too, but other men counteract that by doing it too. As a cis man I've encountered way too many cringe worthy situations from my fellow men.

If you're never experienced mansplaining you might now actually know what it is about.

I personally been using it for almost 5 years. I heard about it from a colleague a few years before that but I forgot about it, and then an online ad reminded me to check them out again.
