Some people can’t leave their phones alone for five seconds.

I was at the cinema the other day and this fucker sat on the front row and proceeded to keep going on their phone.

I had to resist the strong urge to pelt a minstrel at his head.

Did video piracy ever really falter?

Even semi popular movies and shows are always available in a range of qualities, going up to extremely high quality if you get on a private tracker.

Rarbg shutting down was the biggest hit imo, but still lots of options.

Such a truly bizarre crime for a president to pardon…

Just instant career suicide.

Hmm, we’ll have to agree to disagree there. They can 100% decrease the size of the processing bits and reduce weight.

I just think it’s very shortsighted to look at such an early version of the product and say “it won’t change much”. Especially when however many years ago you could have said that what we’ve got right now isn’t possible.

I mean, you can just take it off?

Also, regarding the adoption of the headset, I think it’s absolutely crazy to say that it probably won’t get less bulky. Tech is constantly getting smaller and that will be the number one priority with the headset.

If they can make the price and comfort level right, then I do think it becomes a mainstream product. Not saying people wear it 24/7, but that most households would have one, and it would become somewhat important for WFH and remote meetings.

I’m not a fanboy for Apple, but personally I just think it is the tech of the (relatively) near future.

I don’t know why the word was removed, wasn’t that bad 😆

I was just constantly tired and stressed, eventually the stress was causing heart palpitations so went to the doctor and they did a blood test.

Before the meds it was like being an old phone with a dying battery. Only ever charged up to 60% no matter how much sleep, and ran out of power in a few hours.

Okay, you’re obviously just looking for an argument at this point.

I’m not your enemy, I just ask that you reflect on what I’ve said. You don’t have to, but being open minded and showing compassion are supposedly the cornerstone of the left.

Again, just disregarding how men feel, where does that get us?

I absolutely do not act in the way that men are accused of, but blanket statements about “MeN BaD” are so frequent and widely accepted, and it’s just ignored or even praised.

Bro, this is a direct shot at who I am as a person and I do not appreciate it.

"Tradition is never an excuse for cruelty," says Mr Fry, who is narrating a video which shows undercover film of how black bears are killed.

A supporter of the animal welfare group made an undercover video which claims to show hunters putting down buckets of strongly-scented food as bait, and then shooting black bears with crossbow bolts when they approach.

This doesn’t exactly seem like a revelation to me, and I don’t know why you’d need undercover footage… how do you think they hunted bears?

Living their life in nature before being killed is about as good as it gets for animals. I thought they were gonna say they’re caged from birth or something.

Besides a POV of “killing any animal is wrong”, I don’t really see an issue. It appears to be regulated and as long as they’re maintaining the bear population appropriately why is it any different than hunting deer or killing a cow for leather?

I think it would be a good thing if they moved away from real bear fur for an alternative, but don’t see it as a real issue either way tbh.

What does this even have to do with the BBC?

It’s an Ofcom decision regarding Channel 4’s board…
