Do Pop!_OS AND Linux Mint have KDE Plasma variants, for newcomers who don't know how to swap desktop environments?

A good explanation of the different thin film transistor (LCD) panel types:

I think it's time that we move the letter of the law past the requirement to prove harm in cases of encroachment on personal agency. Such things are next to impossible to prove as harmful (especially within a limited time frame) yet the damage is irreparable and can potentially continue forever.

1a. Exercise your right to return things that have invasive hidden requirements.

(And this is another area where a labeling program would help.)

You don't even need the latest Firefox to use it. They have offered an official extension for a while now, and it works well.

I was expecting to see an exploit for free stuff, but if I followed that video, I think it actually shows getting robbed by a vendor. Is that what you mean?

I don't have degrees in communication and sex therapy, but here's an unproven idea:

Rather than asking her to change, have you considered showing signs of being slightly uncomfortable, maybe by visibly shielding your eyes or looking away, for example? (It could be done in a half-joking manner.) That way, you're calling her attention to it without imposing restrictions or judgment or putting her on the spot, and she can decide on her own terms whether it might be a good idea to cover up a bit.

Since you've already established open communication and trust, perhaps she would initiate a conversation about it. Or if she knows your upbringing, perhaps she would quietly adjust her behavior to avoid making you feel embarrassed.

Somewhere late in the Proton 5.x cycle (I think it was 5.13) Valve introduced Steam Runtime version 2: Soldier, which uses bubblewrap containers to solve various problems with host system libraries, but also broke some things. For example, it wants a newish version of bwrap and no longer works inside most other containers (except for Flatpak, which added special functionality to accommodate it).

If you're not using your own containers, I imagine upgrading to a recent version of Linux Mint might help, by giving you a newer version of bubblewrap, and/or enabling user namespaces (which bwrap uses) if they weren't already enabled.

Alternatively, if you're comfortable running code from Flathub, you might consider using the Steam flatpak instead of your distro's native package.

Once upon a time, Flathub also had community-built versions of Proton that were stripped of their container functionality. I don't know if those are still maintained.

Porkbun is close in price, and from what I've read, has very good service without the BS typical of large registrars.

NameSilo costs a little more and offers more email forwarding addresses and API features than porkbun does.

Here's a big list of registrars: https://tld-list.com/tld/com

I just use whatever live image I last wrote to a flash drive, because it requires zero extra effort or storage, and they all have what I would need from a rescue environment anyway.

I think all the major controllers use Alps sticks, which (sadly) are susceptible to stick drift. I wonder if you got a bad batch, though. My 5-year-old DualShock sticks are steady unless I turn the dead zones down to almost zero. And I haven't even bothered calibrating them.
