This is the truth. Not even a full grown person, not even your just-born child, no one can compel you to give your blood to save their life much less to keep them alive inside your own body for nine months.

If they think a fetus has the same right to life as any person, they are free to help it survive using their own resources, just get it the fuck out of my body first.

This is ludicrous. The Republicans have nothing to worry about. It does not matter to their voters at all. He could start shouting "kill, kill, kill" until he has a seizure and craps himself on stage, voters: "just like Jesus"

Extinction Rebellion claimed responsibility.

"Golf, more than other events, is heavily reliant on good weather. Golf fans should therefore understand better than most the need for strong, immediate climate action."

There's a lot worse things they could say about golf in my opinion.

I don't know what this is about, but it reminds me of the constant ev-bashing in most major newspapers over the last two decades (since the beginning). I believe it's oil money in the press, and definitely had effect on the overall conversation, especially discouraging small evs, but not clear effect on policy. It just keeps consumers from adopting.

They should have one for heterosexuality, too, if it's all about tastes.

It's in Tomorrowland, but it smells like 1979. Good to remember where we came from as long as we're actually going somewhere else.

How many times did they remix that 42.5% before being like I'm just going to go be a clown?

What my boomer dad doesn't get is that so much of corporate enterprise, like even the thing they are ideally making or doing in the world, not just the working conditions or profit sharing, is not unquestionably good for us. He's an engineer from a time when it looked like technology would save the world. My zoomer kid feels conflicted just starting a hobby thinking of the consumption and waste it requires. If they could believe the companies they work for shared their values I think it would go a long way, but i don't see that happening very quickly.

I'm reading this right now on pixel with latest play services update and have no problems using the phone. I'm not saying no one is having problems, but I wonder what the statistics are.

I don't expect Joe Biden to act against his interests, but I also can't believe he thinks this is in his interest! Are there that many people in America who think this is the right thing to do? People danced when Henry Kissinger died, who fails to see the legacy of this?

I love to have a window seat and just can't take my eyes off the landscape below. It's so amazing to see the plan of farms and cities, the aquaducts and rivers, the crinkled mountains deserts and coastline. Sometimes you can see the shadow of your own plane trace along the ground. Try to guess which lake this is. I guess a night flight is boring.
