OMG, Dark! I pride myself on being the one that found and introduced this show to all my friends, who now all agree that it is the best time travel story ever told.
Now the question is, captions or dubs? Most people who watched it are hardline Captionists, but my wife hates reading dialogue so we watched with dubs. I think they did a great job with them.

In general, unfortunately. I've had a couple instances of my machine hard locking up, game crashes causing the entire desktop session to restart, and have had to try many different kernels.
Try cycling through other proton versions as well. I don't really understand why some games will work on older versions and not newer ones, but it happens.

Come on man, I've been on the internet since the beginning. Back in the day I paid $10 to join the Something Awful forums. We used to host our own game servers, back when games would let you. We rented our own Ventrilo server for over a decade.
There are ways to pay for things besides making the user experience godawful.
Same experience here. Been full time Linux gaming for a couple years now and have been able to play every game I've tried.
Garuda is based on Arch so it might not fulfill op's desire for real exploration.
