chiming in again, because this is FLAT OUT WRONG

combining these is the instructions we are given in australia by doctors and surgeons. it’s not only okay, it’s RECOMMENDED to avoid needing stronger pain killers

fyi tylenol is a brand name drug of paracetamol (or in the US i believe acetaminophen)

i believe it and ibuprofen relieve different causes of pain, and in australia we’re advised that both paracetamol/acetaminophen and ibuprofen work well in conjunction

… also ibuprofen and caffeine are acrually a great combo for pain relief! so much so they they sell the combination as a product

this changes nothing: microsoft should have sent a patch remains microsoft should have sent a patch; internal policies are irrelevant to actions effecting external projects

you’re not entirely wrong, but this is the current standard/accepted advice for local development - probably what we’re talking about given this thread is about git commits - because the chance of exploit via this mechanism requires local access… with such access, you’re pretty screwed in far more ways

the up side of flip flopping is that it still results in some amount of effective net neutrality… in order to develop products and build customers for them, ISPs need to actually be sure they’re going to be able to continue to offer them… industries aren’t going to rely on fast lanes, etc until they’re pretty sure they aren’t going to go away

quality of life is a big one… you can get people to change their ways only a certain amount, and if you get people to give up pets they’re gonna tell you where to shove your impactful changes

not really… signing is only possible on exact copies (like byte exact; not even “the same image” but the same image, formatted the same, without being resized, etc)… there are things called perceptual hashes, and ways of checking if images are similar, but cryptography wouldn’t really help there

totally agree; just saying that if it’s GOT to be something, that something should probably be unless… unless . . .
