Very disappointing. Does Apple sell Air Tag data to 3rd parties?

Like millennials, right?

I have a "smart home" but all of those IoT devices are on an isolated VLAN with no WAN or ability to reach other VLANS. Only the necessary ports are exposed so that home assistant can see them.

The real challenge is finding devices that work without the need to phone home.

Hey all,

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post, but I cannot find a dedicated OpenStack sub lemmy.

I'm trying to get experience with OpenStack, and it seems most tutorials are using something called "OpenMetal". This is subscription based with a free trial (which I may end up having to use), but without OpenMetal, it seems I only have access to one OS to install when creating an instance.

See here.

Is there a way for me to install something like Ubuntu 22.04 without the help from OpenMetal? If so, how would I go about doing it?

Hey everyone,

Was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a high quality 75% with a volume knob.

I saw the Satisfaction 75, which is basically exactly what I'm looking for. Just wondering if there's any other good options out there.

I heard there may be a V3 coming out, but I'm not sure where these typically go on group buys. Is there a "go-to" site for keyboard GBs?

2

Zoom TKL is amazing, but I've never had the chance to play with a F1-8X V2. Does anyone have experience with both? I hear the zoom is a great price/ performance, but the F1-8X seems a bit higher build quality?

I started with a Keychron Q6, then discovered the Melatrix Zoom TKL (I actually got 2 because they're fantastic) now I have my eye on Geon Works F1-8X v2 (which I guess I can't get anymore).

I like that Geon Works is made in S Korea, and that they're anodized instead of powder coated. Does anyone else know of any premium TKLs (preferably from other countries than China)?

Just put this thing together, and am loving it.

Hey all,

So I'm getting to the point in the hobby where I've basically assembled an entire board from scratch, but the one thing I have not done yet it any stabilizer tuning.

I just got a Zoom TKL AE, and the WS Stabs they have are..ok. I want to upgrade them, and I've heard people speak highly of Durock, but was wondering if there were any other recommendations?

These are the ones I'm currently looking at; Hopefully those are the ones people are talking about.

I'm getting to the point where I need some storage other than plastic bags for my switches and caps. I've seen some fancy keycap storage like these and these, and some switch storage like these.

Those seem really nice if you are displaying them, but I'm planning on just having them in a drawer somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions for storing both together?

They're saving a ton by not matching our 401ks anymore

I see they make the extras in MT3, but I cannot find them in Cherry. Do they exist?

Example

Does anyone know of reputable sellers aside from drop.com?

There's a set I've had my eye on (here), but not sure if I'm actually getting authentic GMK

I really enjoy the colorways of the GMK Pulse, and was even willing to pay the premium to get some, however as they are ABS, I am worried they will begin to shine at some point.

Does anyone have any suggestions for similar looking caps that are PBT?

I heard similar; That this was the result of a migration away from Googles storage, which was cut off before they had the replacement fully set up. So they lost a ton of data and are severely limited in what they can display.

This is just what I've heard.
