Lots of people were 100% convinced in 2016 that there was no way Trump could win. I know because, TBH, I was one of them. So I don't think it's anywhere near out of the question that Trump might win this year; I do not know it, neither do you, neither does anyone else.

They probably had 1 position to fill, but got many times more applications than that, maybe 10, maybe 20, maybe 50, maybe 100. White person from Austria here and while my life is far from perfect, I like having 5 weeks of paid vacation, free healthcare and education, not relying on cars, and many other things I wouldn't have anymore if I migrated to the US.
