If I already use Pandas for processing my data in-memory, CoW can significantly improve the performance. That was my point.

I did not see in article any proof that Chineese scientists have a bad intentions. A statement about "they always do it [because they are evil maoists]" is not a proof for me.

It is based on files in org format. But it is not related anyhow to org-agenda and planning. It is an only obsidian-like note-raking system with web+mobile+desktop and some blogging capabilities (public/private notes, etc.)

It is always a tradeoff. It could be cool to see some analytics of visits, but I'm not ready to go self hosted for that. My blog is just a hobby, not a work, no monetization, etc.

A very limited list of countries in the world have good enough infra for electric cars. The same about plant based: in developing countries finding a good plant based food, like meat replacement or vegan milk, is a challenge.

Maybe my opinion is biased. But in Russia where I was living until the beginning of 2022, only in Telegram you was able to find channels on independent media and bots, like "smart vote" (the project of russian opposition about coordinate voting against ruling party). And I understand that if opposition leader can easily create bot that would be very hard to block, then anyone, including spammer, can easily create such a bot that would be very hard to block. That is the reason why I still like Tg and thier approach to the business, when they allow almost everything to almost everyone on their platform.

I love emacs. I'm using it every day. But using emacs as a wnidow manager (exwm), browser (eww), or main shell is a crazy idea. The answer is very simple: emacs is single threading and elisp interpreter has own implementation of the tool like Python GIL that protects its own inner state. It is not a problem when you use it as a text editor. But imagine the situation when the process or web page was frozen? It freeze the whole system and only reboot can help.

It is not how capitalism works. At first individuals should start prefer local production and production of more green companies. And only after that corporations change their politics. For example, there is a yearly rating of green electronics (how much green electricity company uses, how clean production is, etc.) but customers do not care. And if customers do not care, why corporations should care?
