Even if he's being honest about his intention of coming back voluntarily it's still a flight risk as there's the possibility he doesn't come back, changes his mind, etc. No extradition and he has the resources to avoid it anyway.
I'm still never going back to OP after they fucked up Oxygen OS. I held onto that OP 7T Pro for the longest time.
I'm confused about your stance on ReVanced. It's about as open-source as you can get https://github.com/revanced/revanced-patches
Completely agree that this guy is a troll, but a check of his profile shows that the person who engages with them the most is you.
I don't believe any Samsung device has fully open source firmware. I assume you mean software seeing as you mention LineageOS?
Again, seriously question why you need this but you could look into ClamAV. If you're coming from Windows you're going to be in for a shock if you blindly try and adapt every concept from Windows straight to Linux.
It's not a competition to see who can commit the most war crimes. This whole idea of comparing one faction against another to see who is worse is just stupid. It should not even come into play when someone simply condemns war crimes! The fact that people read so much into a simple statement says more about them than the person who posted it. If someone's reaction to someone saying "war crimes are war crimes even when commited by your allies" is to think "well that person is justifying Hamas's actions" then the problem lies there, just as much as it is to think "that person is saying Israel doesn't have a right to defend themselves".
All it is is making the world more divisive when it should be unifying to condemn the tragic loss of innocent human life. People should not impose their factional viewpoints on something as simple as that.
Why can they threaten to bomb us every other week, yet the government is too spineless to stand up for the people of Australia? It's disgraceful. They need us more than we need them.
In 2015 Google said "With Google Photos, you can now back up and store unlimited high-quality photos and videos for free". This is no longer true, even considering their vague corporate speak promise of "unlimited high-quality". By Google's own wording within the Google Photos app the options are "Original quality" or "Storage Saver". There is no high-quality unlimited option.
But it's not even about explicit promises. It's about the constant erosion of user trust. Having to read into the details and interpret marketing vs legal speak does nothing to alleviate that Google has done this to themselves.
As unfortunate is this is, the more it happens my hope is that people understand how important your privacy and security is on the internet. Trying to explain it to people feels like a losing battle at times. It's easier when you can point and say "how would you feel about your genetic information being sold on the internet?"
And what I got from other commenters is that their countries hate pieces of gum and shrivelled blackened oranges. It's not unique to Australia although as an island nation especially prone to biosecurity threats we do have a reputation for taking it more seriously. It's not a difficult thing to get caught with if you're paying any sort of attention. You can make mistakes and accidentally (or even purposefully) bring stuff in as long as you own up to it. There's signage everywhere explaining in words and pictures what is and is not allowed. The custom agents ask you. There's literally every chance to declare.
It's not as harsh as it sounds, it's only when you get caught that it becomes a big deal. It's like if you got pulled up by the cops. If you try and lie or simply don't even recognise that you were speeding you'll probably get a ticket. The analogy breaks down in the "admit fault" side of things because the cop can ticket you anyway, where under our biosecurity law you cannot be punished for declaring goods that would not be allowed in.
