@doctorcrimson Everyone learns this the hard way.
@Obscura From a UX point of view, it’s easier to switch between apps than to switch between accounts in a single app. Also, the different UIs give me an immediate visual cue as to which account I’m in, which keeps me from posting the wrong thing in the one with tougher moderation.
@Obscura I was experimenting with different apps & ended up using Voyager for my @beehaw account & Memmy for my @lemmyworld account. I know I can use one app for both, but it’s kind of convenient having two.
@Maeve @RickiTarr @ReadyUser31 @charonn0 @snooggums This was one of my favorite episodes of 3-2-1 Contact back in the day!
@storksforlegs @raccoona_nongrata That’s essentially what a lot of people elsewhere in the US say about those of us who live in states run by gun-toting religious maniacs. (For the record, about 40% of us did not vote for this.)
@N1cknamed The world has changed. This is how it works nowadays. We’re not expected to put up with strangers slobbering on us anymore. If a man kissed me without permission, I’d punch him. Hard.
@random65837 @Wage_slave Oh, Reddit had some truly terrible subs over the years. It feels to me like they only started cleaning up the site pretty recently. There used to be a lot more overlap with 4chan/8chan, and that’s where many banned subreddits went when booted.
