Robert Altman continues to fuck people with that sale
The $150 isn’t for the new game mode. People that paid $150 were told they’d get all DLC. The devs are saying this isn’t DLC and these folks will get it for free once the game is out of early access. People that paid $250 can play this now. People that paid any more will have some level of discount to purchase access to this mode.
It’s all in the article.
Jurors rejected the allegations of another woman and couldn’t reach verdicts on two others, including those of a documentary filmmaker married to California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
wat
a documentary filmmaker married to California Gov. Gavin Newsom
Does she not have a name? Does the lack of verdict make her so fucking insignificant that she’s reduced to her fucking husband’s property? In normal contexts this pisses me off; in this context how the fuck did someone write this and more than one someone approve this for publication?
Edit with their caveat:
The Associated Press does not typically name people who say they have been sexually abused unless they come forward publicly as Chernyshova has, and her attorney approved of the AP using her name.
Huh. So is Newsom married to a lot of documentary filmmakers or did the AP name her in the most fucking demeaning way possible?
Based on my experience when I was still buying Domino’s, these emails that you can’t opt out of aren’t even ads. “Status of your account and points total” is what it says on the tin. It’s not promotional offers or spam, it’s information pertinent to your account meaning it’s rare.
This might have changed in the years since I stopped using Domino’s so YMMV.
They already did that. They companies the tools to remove negative reviews. Glassdoor has not been much different from BBB for some time (if not all time).
Do you want to work for someone that doesn’t understand there are alternatives to GitHub? Label it as your portfolio or VCS on your resume and share the link instead of GitHub when asked. If it causes issues( that’s a great weed out on your end.
@Aboel3z@programming.dev are you going to actually interact with the community or are you just trying to drive traffic?
Also if you could code from a young age why would you say you only learned in 2019 while working night shifts in a factory?
@Aboel3z@programming.dev do you plan on ever interacting with the community or do you post your links to drive Medium engagement?
What value do timegates add to video games? How does the user experience improve or degrade if the wait is, say five minutes? One minute? None? Is the point of the simulation to wait for everything? What’s the difference between acceleration humans can’t survive and wait times? What’s the line we can’t cross to suspend disbelief?
I personally think it’s all made up so making me twiddle my thumbs for 10m is fucking stupid. If I wanted a waiting simulator I’d play “kickstarting Star Citizen” or a less punishing game like Desert Bus.
One of my proudest accomplishments is contributing to the XDG Base Dir spec. I fixed a typo.
This isn’t how trademarks work, unfortunately. A trademark is something that only your business gets to use. Your unique use of the trademark means anything using it comes from you.
You can grant others the ability to use your trademark. Without that approval process that has to go through you, anyone could use it, though. If you don’t attempt to enforce your trademark, you could lose the mark depending on the extent of the infringement. Different folks will tell you different things there.
The Security Online article only cites Margitelli’s post on the matter. My assumption has been the article used the post as its single source. On one hand, watching MS fuck shit up for years, I want to believe Margitelli. On the other hand, researchers using weird tools and uninterested in reality are why curl is now a CNA.
I’m personally frustrated with Margitelli’s post because it’s all about abandoning responsible disclosure globally rather than naming and shaming (Canonical? Red Hat? Both? Others? If it affects all GNU/Linux I’d expect every single distro maintainer to be named and shamed). Responsible disclosure is our best solution to make sure innocent bystanders don’t get caught in the crossfire. When specific entities don’t abide by responsible disclosure we lambast those specific entities not the entire process built to keep users safe.
