"90% of translation needs..."

confidently making an assertion that sounds plausible for a few seconds but turns out to be unsubstantiated bullshit. are you trying to steal an LLM's job? ๐Ÿ™ƒ

maybe they're really into creepy sexist jokes and defending paedophiles and they figured RMS would overlook the licensing to support some fellow travelers...

under any coherent definition of "whataboutism", it would mean saying "any crimes against humanity committed by the North Korean government don't matter, because of [something an unrelated regime did]".

instead, I was responding to @Marsupial@quokk.au, who was saying that the US invading North Korea wouldn't make the citizens' lives any worse โ€“ to which, talking about the history of how US invasions have affected people seems, I don't know, extremely relevant?

unless your comment is meant to be satire about how "whataboutism" is coming to mean "any criticism of the US government whatsoever", in which case it's a beautiful job ๐Ÿ‘

your second linked article begins "The newest are much larger than they used to be".

the abject state of the USA car industry - that a "mini" is smaller than the even-bigger, also ridiculously over-sized cars on the road - does not change physics. or justify why you feel the need to choose between the terrible options that are the latest models offered by homicidal car manufacturers

also, to reheat a comment from elsewhere in this discussion, calling housing "property" is doing free PR work for those who financially exploit others through control of land: consider finding alternative terms.

i invite you to use the word "house" or "apartment" or "dwelling" or "land" instead of "property" in these contexts, to stop doing free PR work for exploitative real estate investors

anyone who owns a small business, instead of running it as a co-operative, has made at least one antisocial decision.

anyone whose "small business" involves potentially making people homeless has made at least one more.

the word "rice" in this context has a super racist history and I beg you to look it up and then stop using it.

nice desktop tho
