Cloudflare Tunnels are black magic and exactly what you're looking for:

https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/connections/connect-networks/

Free, no need to self host a server somewhere externally. Can even be used for SSH!

Also, if you get the permission of someone in leadership to clone their voice, one angle could be to voice clone someone on ElevenLabs and make the voice say something particularly problematic, just to stress how easily voice data can be misused.

If this AI vendor is ever breached, all they have to do is robocall patients pretending to be a real doctor they know. I don't think I need to spell out how poorly that would go.

You are giving it the -d flag. -d means "detached." There are logs, you are just preventing yourself from seeing them.

Replace the -d with an -i (for interactive) and try again.

Have you completed the podman rootless setup in order to be able to use it? You may need to edit /etc/subuid and /etc/subgid to get containers to run:

https://github.com/containers/podman/blob/main/docs/tutorials/rootless_tutorial.md#etcsubuid-and-etcsubgid-configuration

More than likely, this might have something to do with podman being unprivileged, and this wanting to bind to port 80 in the container (a privileged port). You may need to specify a --userns flag to podman.

Running in interactive mode will give you the logs you want and will hopefully point you in the right direction.

Hi :)

If you're already running an instance, you're not going to have a good time of this on the same server unfortunately. The webserver config I ship assumes a single instance, and all of the handling assumes only one domain. You would have to basically modify my entire script to support something like this.

You can take a look at my advanced configuration page to figure out what files you can edit, but this would be a very manual process for what you want to do.

Apologies, but you would be better off deploying a new server.

Try CrossCode! It's action based so it won't feel too RPG-y.

The story is really good and the characters are extremely well written. At the risk of sounding cliche, they're so well written they feel like real people.

The dungeons have puzzles which you may enjoy since you like Zelda games.

The combat is really fast and skill based, and you respawn immediately at the last door you walked through, so you might find this gameplay loop rewarding since you like Souls games.

You don't have to grind, but if you do try this game, try beating a bunch of enemies until the S rank bar appears. Something fun will happen :)

I don't have the same issue. Fennec from F-Droid runs at 120Hz even with tabs open

The indicator does flicker between 60 and 120 while the page is loading, but it's not perceptible. However, if what I'm seeing means the FPS goes down to 60 while the app is busy, this may be some kind of performance throttling done to keep resource usage low. If you have lower end specs, this may be the explanation. I'm on a Pixel 6 Pro.

Thanks, I didn't know about this!

But it doesn't look like it supports text message triggers :(

It's really hard to take calls to action like this seriously, when they unironically talk like this:

You cannot pass this invasive “browser check” without enabling JavaScript. This is a waste of five(or more) seconds of your valuable life.

Most of the other points are either grasping, misleading, or make the classic FOSS-centric assumption that we live in a fantasy land where all hosting is free and companies don't need to exist.

I'm not out here trying to say Cloudflare is vital to society, but come on, these arguments are toothless.

Hmmm, good point. To be honest, I'm not sure if anyone knows how the algorithm works, I'm only guessing.

Maybe content creators would know for sure, but I'm not one :p

Not sure if this is related, but I tried replying to a comment from a user on kbin, and my instance wouldn't send the reply. They still have federated posts and top-level comments though, even mine. Maybe their queue is just overloaded.

I think you meant to reply to a post about Mastodon and Threads, this one is about steak 🥩

It's awesome that you're donating to Lemmy, but we're likely to see another spike in signups at the end of the month, and it might be smarter to let some of the donated funds roll over into the next month. If people only do one-off donations, donating to Lemmy before you know if your next month's bill will be covered might put you in a tight spot.

If you're going for transparency, OpenCollective might also be an option.
