It can be on your home network, but it needs to be reachable via HTTPS through the internet. So yeah, a vps is probably the best option.

Great question, I've been looking for the same. Some of my go-tos are:

  • Tetris (GB) (of course)
  • Pokemon Puzzle Challenge (GBC)
  • Balloon Kid (GB)
  • Castlevania II (GB)
  • DuckTales (GB)
  • DK - King of Swing (GBA)
  • Game & Watch Gallery (GB)

  • I've tried NeoVim but I really don't want to waste time doing text-based configuration and messing with extensions just to get some basic features working.

Have you tried any of the premade Neovim configurations like Lunarvim or NvChad?

Apart from that maybe something can be done with vscodium in a distrobox container or something, I haven't looked much into that.

If you want just a replacement for Warpinator, LocalSend is definitely the way to go. I used Warpinator before, and LocalSend is just an overall better version of the same thing imo. Finds other devices instantly, can also send text in addition to files and folders, and is available across platforms.

"Ukraine seems to be fine" is an odd thing to say considering what is going on there in general, but to your point, we can be glad that the fighting around Chernobyl did not do more damage. There's also a difference in strategy when a country attacks their neighbour to annex their land. If they instead want to mess with a country further away, they can just drop some bombs on their nuclear plants and see what happens.

There's also a minimum amount that goes to Humble itself, and they manipulate the scale to make it look like it's less. E.g. at 25€ the minimum that goes to Humble is 7.50€, but it looks like ~4€ compared to the publisher and charity bars.

Keepass2Android implements syncing in a way that actually works. I sync through my nextcloud instance. On my laptop it's just KeepassXC and the nextcloud desktop app, on my mobile (android) devices Keepass2Android. On iOS I think there was Strongbox but I haven't used it in a long time. I tried using KeepassDX with the nextcloud android app for syncing for a while, but it lead to regular silent sync conflicts including password losses.

They are alright, but playback is much more stable on Kodi for me. Luckily you can use Jellyfin as a server and use Kodi to play from it.

You did not have to go that far away to find that. The gas station is where a lot of Germans get their beer on Sundays, too.
