Do corporations produce those GHGs for fun? For their shareholders? Are the coal bonfires at company getaways? Do they build castles for shareholder using ruminant bones as a construction material? Do they use oil to build deadly oil swamps for obscure reasons? Or do they embed and package those GHG emissions to sell something to some buyer?

The Market buys the government regulators and forces the competition out, thus retiring from being "a market" into being a monopoly. Eventually The Market also buys politicians, just like regulators. It's all very stupid, don't let the econobros distract you.

Because I personally don’t want to eat 80 grapes. Besides the sugar content of 80 grapes is not healthy.

That's just wrong, sorry. Demonizing fruits is one of the most dangerous "health trends" on the face of the planet. Right up there with antivaxxers.

And, again you can eat leaves which don't have sugar and have lots of other great nutrients and fiber, while having less water volume.

No one is forcing you to drink it.

You just haven't encountered that kind of peer pressure yet.

There's nothing wrong with polarization. Some things are clear cut enough to remain clear cut.

Let me put it differently, how much poop do you want in your drinking water?

If your job is indirectly about murdering people, you're just a soldier and this is war. It is the Nuremberg defense, the "I was just following orders" excuse.

I’m no fan of shitty drivers and I think if we live in a world where license suspensions are a thing, that’s fine but don’t be surprised when stuff like this happens when public transit sucks. It may exist but there’s a reason why a lot of folks prefer their car over poorly funded public transit.

Have you thought about why public transit is poorly funded and developed?

Do you know what "triage" is?

Slavery is about the nature of those relationships, not the act. Just because you're raising kids it doesn't mean that it's not slavery, something that's exceedingly obvious to those who live in "chattel slavery" in which people are owned in more obvious ways, unmediated by debt relationships. Did you know that the words "cattle" and "chattel" and "capital" have the same root, that root word being head?

This one is for Americans who use cars as shoes, umbrellas and shopping bags. Normally, the need to switch to a plant-based would be higher.

Oh, now it's great, there are apps. Before the internet it was misery and before ATMs it was just spiteful. The whole point seemed to be to make sure that you never get to extract cash from your accounts.
