You can also just write your class again as some sort of additional specificity like

Have you tried the .ics download method?
I thought that the OS would see the ics file and automatically know to open your calendar app to deal with it.

Honestly I’m going to sound like an old man but the internet ruined society in a lot of ways. I mean I’ve enjoyed its benefits my whole life and my profession is centered around it. No doubt it has benefits.
But we were not ready for it. Technology advanced faster than human beings matured. We weren’t prepared for this thing that could grant us all of our wishes instantly.
On top of that, talking with someone on the internet is absolutely not how you talk to people in real life. Yet, most of our conversations happen on the internet. It trains you to be able to turn off experiences that you don’t like. It trains you to be uncaring towards people with no repercussions.
So when you are in the real world, it’s like you forget how to cordially coexist with people.
It is tragic. Like you said.
I think in-person is better for culture and team building. That mindset works when workers stay at a job their whole career.
It used to be that you could stay at one job your whole career and be fine. That hasn’t been the case for decades now though. Workers started getting treated like they were expendable cogs in the machine, and so now workers treat employers the same way. Switching jobs is the best way to be successful and make more money.
So employers want it both ways. They want to treat employees poorly and still expect a good team culture to form to retain workers. They have to pick one.
Imagine caring about people caring
When all of those things happen and Reddit is gone, spez will still be filthy rich.
Instead of being more rich than 90% of people he’ll be more rich than 86% of people.
Because the #1 reason why employees will stay at a job that underpays them is because they like the people they work with. And you can’t form those bonds remotely.
