The orange cat is Thorin. He's 13 years old and a little cranky with other cats, especially younger ones. He doesn't have the energy to keep up anymore. Rory is ~1 year old. Super playful, and so sweet she'll give you a cavity. But she's a little much for the old man sometimes.

When I got out of bed because I was parched and needed water, I looked at the couch and could faintly make out a cat. But it also looked too big to be a cat so I turned on the light and determined that I was indeed correct. It wasn't a cat.

It was TWO whole cats!

This was her first winter in a place that actually gets snow and she loved. If I let her she would just sit outside all day. She's half husky, but her coat is 100% husky.

Nothing artificial about his intelligence.

When I got her, she was too small for the smallest sized coats in the pet stores, so I cut up one of my fuzzy socks.

My dog is in absolute love with my brother in law. We joke that she would leave with him and wouldn’t even look back.

She is obsessed with her froggy toy!

I got Mulligan, or as we usually call him Moop after a long stay in the ICU. I asked my partner if I survived could I have a puppy? He of course said yes and I spent months dreaming of this boy from my critical care bed. I received a new set of lungs during that stay in the hospital and that summer we brought Mulligan home. Mulligan is named for my surgeon, Dr. Mulligan, which considering “a mulligan” is a do over I’m reminded the universe does have a sense of humor sometimes.

It’s crazy to think that’s so far behind me, that my little fantasy puppy is a real, grown dog who has traveled around the sun with me 11 times! Time flies, hug your pets and people and remember the sun doesn't go down, It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
