Gonna have to veg this single one a little longer than usually so it can fill the tent out. Maybe an extra week than usual.

I am looking into the Nebula Boost Decarboxylator to make some edibles. Using my kitchen oven is not really an option for me.

Any options or experience with this decarboxylator? Or any other one? How is their webshop?

About 75% was frozen right after harvesting to make some bubble hash with it. I saved 10 of the best colas to dry and save for flower.

Grow wasn’t without issues, changed nutrient line mid grow, got it dialed in now I think though.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or just not using enough weed.

I've tried making cannabutter before but it's a ton of work and all I get is a mild buzz. I'm experienced smoker with high tolerances but people have said that this shouldn't be a factor with edibles because the active ingredient is different when it's processed by your liver. This doesn't seem true on my experience.

I don't care about taste - I just want to get high. Yesterday I made 'firecrackers' with 1g of grinded bud that I had decarbed in 120C (240f) for 40 minutes. I had it covered with foil and was monitoring the temperature with electric thermometer. I then sprinked this on top of a cracker with peanut butter on it and covered it with another one. Again - after an hour I realized I was somewhere at [3] which I could've achieved by just smoking a joint with half of that amount of weed.

What gives?

First time grower here. They have been on my sunny balcony for the better part of the year. I am having a hard time assessing the trichome state. I find it hard to say whether the trichomes are clear or milky TBH.

and also

The littlest ladies needed the tent space, so what to do? Is it better to harvest early or finish in slightly sub-par conditions? I'm not noticing as much amber as I had thought I was (when looking at the sugar leaves), so if it won't ruin everything to continue that's def my pref.

Hey folks, first time grower here. Something is seriously wrong with my plant and I'm not sure what it is.

Any ideas?

At first I thought it needed nutrients so I added fertilizer and it got a little better for a while. Then I added more fertilizer and it seemed like it got worse. I was worried I had over fertilized, so I watered the plants with RO water a lot. Then they got a lot worse and stayed wet for a while, and then dried out and seemed to start doing a little better. Today I trimmed off some yellow leaves to find that the new growth still looks messed up. I don't know what to do!

If you’re planning on making any hash or anything with your flower, you should trim the fan leaves off, sugar leaves and fan leaves with trichomes can stay though. This will allow the cuts to heal before harvest and will minimize chlorophyll leech into any other products you could be making.

This will be harvested next week and half will be frozen and half will be dried. The frozen will be considered “fresh frozen” cannabis and will be used to make bubble hash that will be turned into rosin and put into some pure cannabis “live rosin” carts.

The dried material will be split as well, some for vaping and some for some dried cannabis hash, which will also be made into carts, will maybe get a flavorant as well, for some variety, but most will be pure cannabis.

This plant of a friend seems to only produce calyxes. Is this a genetic thing or could it also be due to some kind of stress? If it is because of genetics, do you think this could be worth saving by taking a cutting?

I'm getting so excited and don't wanna wait, but I know the results will be better if I do. Another pic:

I recently tried out the POT by NOIDS to make some cannabis butter, and I’m really impressed with how easy and efficient the process was. Here’s how it went:

1000005518 I used about 10g of cannabis flowers (likely Amnesia, but I’m not 100% sure, it’s grown by myself and grown outdoors). I ground them up (not mandatory, but I’ve heard it helps with surface area and efficiency), then put them in the POT for decarboxylation.

1000005520 The device has a “Decarb” mode that runs at 115°C and takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, but mine was done in about 1.5 hours. The POT is smart enough to measure the progress with sensors, so it knows when it’s done.

After decarbing, I let the cannabis cool down a bit and then added 100g of melted butter.

1000005527 I’ve tried it with solid butter before, and it worked, but melting it first seems to mix better. I switched to the “Oil” mode, which ran at 100°C for about 2.5 hours. Once that was done, I let it cool a bit, swapped the normal lid for the filter set, and poured the infused butter into a jar.

1000005529 The butter was pretty dark at first, but after setting it in the fridge, it turned a nice green color.

1000005531 Honestly, I’m really happy I invested in this device despite the higher price. It’s super easy to use, and cleaning it is simple whether by hand or in the dishwasher. The POT is also surprisingly quiet – think of a slightly louder computer. Another plus is the minimal odor. My kitchen usually reeks when I use the oven for decarbing, but this time the smell was barely noticeable.

I highly recommend this device for anyone looking to make infused oils, butter, or concentrates easily at home.

They aren’t entirely happy with me, started getting stress foxtails last week. Adjusting to a new nutrient line and my light was probably a hair strong.

Had some trouble with aphids at the start, but they’re mostly under control now (honestly, I'd rather smoke a bit of “protein” than pesticides or buy street weed lol). The plants are now in week 6 of flower. The breeder says 7-9 weeks to finish, but I’ll be keeping an eye on the trichomes to know for sure. :)

They’ve grown pretty tall because I had them outside in a greenhouse for the first two weeks, but they didn’t get enough light there. I moved them indoors to the tent, but I think that’s how they got the aphids. Because of the low light, they stretched a lot during veg.

I’m planning to harvest around the end of October. With the trim and popcorn buds, I’m going to try making my own THC vape juice. Never done it before, but I’ve already done decarbing for edibles, so it shouldn’t be too hard.

Anyone here made their own THC e-liquid before? I’ll post my results in a few weeks!

After my harvest, I had a shit load of larf and trim. As we all know, when life gives you shitty larfy plants you bubble that shit and get high.

The only problem is that now I have a bunch of grade A full melt hash and no way to smoke it. I don't dab, I don't vape, so I'm stuck rolling super joints that get you higher than the Apollo 11. Looking for a hash pipe- a real one that won't just melt your hash down the pipe- returns exactly one result. It's fine but not what I'm looking for. I think I'm going to craft one, I'll let you know how it goes.

Anyway, hash! Love it? Never tried it? I'm sure nobody hates it but if you're a chronic contrarian tell me about how wrong I am!

I'm a relative newbie to this.. started growing last year, have infused some coconut oil and ghee, have tried a few different gummy recipes and buy gummies as well.

The gummies and other things that I make at home have a moderate to strong earthy flavor while what I buy is quite mild. How do I work on reducing that earthiness? Is it a function of how concentrated my oil is, or is there a processing technique to remove the smell from the oil before I cook with it? My concentrations so far have been in the 75-90 mg/Tbsp range making me use 2 Tbsp of coconut oil in a batch of gummies to get 5 mg per gummy.

Any suggestions?
