Is it worth paying 6€ for ?
I recently got an iPad, it's the first Apple device I've use. I am still not over the fact that I need to pay for a thing as basic as an ad-blocker, and that it will only work with Safari...
I use AdGuard and Vinegar Extract (Vinegar without the adblock part). IIRC those are free and work well for me, so try them first.
Second Vinegar. It’s an awesome little add-on.

I even paid for the pro version. They deserve it!
I’d say so. I haven’t upgraded to Wipr 2, yet, but Wipr 1 is effective and simple. AdGuard has a free version that is good but, for whatever reason, involves a lot more settings changes. AdGuard has the advantage of letting you select elements and block them. Wipr doesn’t, don’t know if Wipr 2 has that.
If you want free, try AdGuard or Firefox Focus.
Welcome to the Apple world
There’s wBlock if you can’t justify the cost. I just prefer supporting indie devs. Not sure how effective it is against YouTube ads though.

There are a lot of options to block ads. I don’t pay for any apps and don’t see any ads on my Apple devices.
