  • Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Manchurian
  • Razor: Zwilling J. A. Henckels Friodur Unnumbered 8/8" ( hollow ground, stainless steel, round point)
  • Lather: Catie's Bubbles โ€“ Reflection
  • Post Shave: Highland Springs Soap Co. โ€“ Reflections
  • Fragrance: Chatillon Lux โ€“ Weinstrasse

Happy green scents for a relaxed Saturday morning shave. I chose the reflection(s) combo simply for the nominal similarity, but they work together without clash. The lively Weinstrasse frag was just icing on the cake.

I tend to (probably mistakenly) think that most bases are serviceable and give me great lathers if dialled in well and that bad lather is due to operator error, but this one is just so damn pleasant to use, and it practically dials itself in. Dense lather that hydrates super gradually. Simply delightful to use.

The big Frio 8/8 and the soft Chubby are ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ˜˜
