MODERATORS
if you know how to get the switch out of the store, you can get an employee to unlock it for you and get the switch out, have a friend nearby who when youre walking up to the electronics section register with the employee comes around and says “there you are! mom and dad are up front checking out already, we need to go”. ask the employee if you can run it up front and pay for it there. if they say its not allowed then you’re no worse off for it but if they hand you the switch and you know how to get it out of the store you’re good
The imaginary visual of a greying man with a beard saying "my mom and dad are checking out i need to go" as an excuse almost makes this worth it
Oh I have a similar method for trading cards I'd have to do this at a spot in willing to burn
