A picture can be a freeze frame of any movement. The video of it made clear that he heiled.
But damn, he did it twice in row? This is just going downhill.

I agree, the video doesn't really leave room for doubt.
Yup. Saw the pic first and thought "OK, add it to the list of photos I've seen of people mid-wave who look like they're throwing a Nazi salute.
Watched the video. Nope. Literally no room for debate. That was a sieg heil and there is zero chance it wasn't.
Did you see the whole thing, where he turned around and did it again to the crowd behind him to really emphasize what he was doing?
After this he gets close to the microfone and says "you guys are in my heart" or something like that.
What did Americans used to do to Nazi hearts?
I'm not sure about Americans but I know us Canadians ate them for breakfast. They didn't call us stormtroopers without reason.
