Dumb shit wasn't masked?!? EVs, especially Teslas, record their surroundings.
Anyway, the paint will come right off the stainless steel with a little mineral spirits or lighter fluid. Its a good thing they did not splash it with a 1:1 ratio mix of ferric chloride and distilled water. That would have been unfortunate.
I'd leave it on, the spay paint would stop it from rusting.
Honestly, the paint is an aesthetic upgrade.
