There was an “X” in the upper right hand corner. I clicked it and the popup went away, and I could read the article.
I completely understand, but I’m more tolerant of the close-able popup with a clear X than I am the others though.
Which were themselves covers of black songs during segregation?
'Jolene' and 'Blackbird' were covers of black songs? Which ones?
John Lennon, who originally wrote blackbird, was heavily influenced by 90s hip hop. /s
Umm, the bird. It's in the fucking title. It's old though, so it uses derogatoryangage for women. Now it would be called woman of colour.
