Matthias is one of the original DIY guys on the internet (before YouTube) and janky-but-functional is his specialty. I feel like his stuff has been a lot worse in the past few years but a lot of his old stuff is great. Like he made a mini forklift with a camera out of an RC car to store stuff in his crawlspace on tiny pallets

Your criticism is totally fair, his stuff lately don't feel like organic ideas. Hes not recording his own projects anymore, he's coming up with stuff to film
