MODERATORS
People are mad and they want to fight for what they believe in. The pain caused by tariffs are a way to virtue signal they are fighting for their team. A badge of honor.
This might not play out how you would think...
If Bernie was president and said we would have to pay more for something for the greater good I would do it and probably be proud to...
In Bernie's case it's "pay slightly more in taxes for free healthcare for everyone"
In Trump's case it's "pay much more in groceries because fuck you"
