After getting jealous from seeing the results of skill, patience, and stacking macro photos in the news, I was pleased to find today's crop of photos using a Canon R6 + RF 100mm macro lens can still do a satisfying photo.
I'm guessing it's a Common Wasp, but don't have the knowledge to be sure!

Heh. It was on its own, didn't seem fussed, I'm guessing didn't feel trapped, and I'd 100mm of lens plus a camera for it to attack before it reached me :)
Last year when I was walking in a park, a wasp decided to attack me for no reason. As I panicked I fell on the ground along with my DSLR, I had to run for 5 minutes without pause in order to escape from the wasp.
Got a little dent on my DSLR, but glad that it was still functional.
