Not sure Stern fits in there with people like Limbaugh... He's changed quite a bit and is a really good interviewer. He might have been skeezy back in the day, but I don't believe he was ever pushing right wing conspiracy bullshit or anything.
Stern was a shameless misogynist and sex pest. He was more than happy to shill quack therapies for everything from baldness to dick pills. He wasn't a red meat spewing white nationalist or evangelical fascist. He ended up on the seediest end of the Libertarian spectrum, where any amount of social exploitation was acceptable so long as it made you a buck and it was cool to whine about a rapper from LA saying the N-word when he can't.
And his show was as overflowing with hoaxes and conspiracies as anyone else on the radio. It was the same kind of Joe Rogan "open your mind until your brain falls out" style of cynical incredulity. Anything to fill the time slot that got people's attention was on the table.
Sure Stern's a turd. But he's not a bad faith actor, and those cunce are worse for society as a whole
He's just a series of ads riding a Sybian.
They're hawking worse merch, sure. But its the same grift.
