It's also the name of the best feature of the 3DS. What the fuck, Nintendo? Why don't we have it on the Switch?

Nintendo makes great innovative leaps and then ignores them just because. I'm looking at you, GameCube controller, best controller of my life, never to be reproduced.

Well, it was reproduced for the Wii U release of Super Smash Bros, together with an adapter that let you use GC controllers with the Wii U. If you have a USB 3 to USB C converter, this adapter also works with the Switch.

It's not ideal, but you could in theory play Switch with a GameCube controller using only official Nintendo products (except the USB adaptor), all of which published many years after the production of the GameCube itself ended.

Seems a little inconvenient to carry a Nintendo switch in your pocket. Plus the battery life is probably not as good.

You're goddamn right the battery life is not as good. I still have a 3ds, it's 15 years old, and the battery on that guy still outlasts my switch.
