Yeah that effing sucks. I really didn't think they'd bend the knee. I can't blame them, but it still makes me sad.
Zelenskyy is in the unenviable position of being partially fucked or fully fucked. He also may be playing a longer game, waiting for the EU to fully replace U.S. support. With Germany staying somewhat stable, that's likely doable.
You really only need one industrial powerhouse sending weapons.
