You are arguing with a mod and journalist of nearly 30 years. I am not going to go into a treatise on why your point is correct but not correct for this discussion.
Allow me a treatise on why you should play hide and go fuck yourself.
So what if you're a mod? That doesn't mean that you're right. Where the fuck do you get off threatening another user who makes a point you don't like just because you have mod power?
Real "because I said so!“ vibes. You're weird.
Can you explain what you meant to imply by this? It's just coming off as a veiled threat that you'll ban me for arguing with you as I'm reading it.
I speak plainly. There is no implied threat. I'm simply stating that my experience makes me suited to know when a fact is useful in a discussion.

I don't think there's any way to be taken any other way than beeing an entitled asshat, so let's start there.
This is my career. I mean, it was, but newspapers aren't what they once were. So when a random chance encounter led me to lead U.S. News, I couldn't really resist.
Let's not presume one's journey.
What about moderation makes that so more than the average users experience? If anything I would think the biases and repetitive nature would do the opposite.
Modding is honestly a few more minutes a day than just being a twice-a-day user. That's how I fell into this!
